omg i love...mehar sethi.
because he makes me cry real tears of laughter. all the time. also, he has sublime fashion sense. you can't really tell from this picture; you'll just have to trust me.

omg i love...scott neustadter.
because he's just adorable. and because i can't wait for 500 DAYS OF SUMMER to be released, because it is one of the greatest scripts i've ever read. and i love joseph gordon-levitt a little bit for giving props to scott. actually, i love joseph gordon-levitt a lot, but for other, dirtier reasons best saved for another post entirely.
omg i love...explosions in the sky.
because the world is a better place when their music is playing in the background. every little thing seems more meaningful, every thought more dramatic, every beat lifted from the big screen.
if i had just one song to listen to for the rest of my life, it might just be "your hand in mine."

omg i love...joe arpaio.
because he won't stand for shaq's embarrassing kobe-bashing freestyle, and is thus taking away shaq's deputy badge (http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/25354019/). but mostly because he is described as "best known for feeding jail inmates green bologna, clothing them in pink underwear, and making them work on chain gangs." i don't know why i find that funny, but i do.

omg i love...the u.s. senate.
because they have a tradition called SEERSUCKER THURSDAY, which is legit my wet dream.

"in the years before air conditioning made summertime washington bearable, senators from the south shed their heavy-wool black frock coats for lighter linen and cotton garments. seersucker suits became widely popular because they retained their fashionable good looks despite the frequent washing that humid summers made necessary. in the late 1990s, mississippi senator trent lott decided the time had come to revive a long-forgotten senate sartorial tradition. he selected a 'nice and warm' day in the second or third week of june to be designated seersucker thursday."

omg i love...josh levin and john swansburg.
because they took the time to dissect the aforementioned michele tafoya / kevin garnett interview.
the result is "certified" genius: http://www.slate.com/id/2193863/

omg i love...the boston celtics.
because they simply dominated. and because i've always loved doc rivers since his knicks days. and because turning a .293 winning percentage into a .805 championship year is pretty impressive. but mostly because kevin garnett gave michele tafoya an amazing postgame interview.
"what are you gonna say now? what CAN you say now?" - kevin garnett
